The Chausie is a deep bonding companion cat. The breed is medium to large in size compared to average domestic breeds.   The coat and appearance is often witnessed as a small mountain lion.

For thousands of years domestic cats have been bread with jungle cats to form hybrid breeds.  In the mid 90’s breeders joined forces with the intention of forming the greatest Jungle Cat Domestic Hybrid the world has known.  There work was a success!  The Chausie became the latest hybrid breed recognized by TICA in 2013.  In the history of hybrid breeds, this is very exciting and we are so excited to see them bond, live, and love so well so quickly.
